The Town of Nederland’s purchase of Eldora Mountain Resort in Boulder County is reaching the final stages of approval. This is advancing the mountain town one step closer to ownership from its current owner, POWDR. Nederland town staff expects to seek final approval from the Board on December 16.
Nederland said that Eldora Mouintain’s ski operation is in overall good condition, and the proposition to purchase is viable, financially sound, and consistent with the Town’s long term goals for community benefit. Eldora Mountain Resort opened for the 2025-26 season on November 14, 2025.
