A bicyclist has died of his injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Boulder, Colorado. On Monday, August 4, 2025, Boulder Police responded to a call regarding a bicyclist who was hit by a pickup truck and severely injured. The collision occurred on Edgewood and 24th Street in Boulder. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital, and was later reported deceased. The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
The bicyclist killed in this collision was one of at least four bicyclists who have been struck and killed by vehicles in the Denver Metro Area this summer. Boulder City officials are reminding drivers and bicyclists to avoid distractions and to use extreme caution while operating any vehicle, particularly when bicyclists are present.
